MMRDA lists Oshiwara, Lower Oshiwara and Andheri West among the stations on Line 2A's operating section, open since 19 January 2023. Line 2A runs along Link Road from Dahisar to Andheri West, near D N Nagar, where you can change to Line 1 (Versova–Andheri–Ghatkopar) for the eastern suburbs.
How to work out your nearest station
- Ask the project team to mark your residents' entrance on the site plan. The sales-visit entrance may not be the gate you will use every day.
- Walk to both Oshiwara and Lower Oshiwara station entrances — not to the pin in the middle of the station.
- Check crossings, footpaths, stairs and lifts. A shorter route with an awkward road crossing can be worse with children, luggage or limited mobility.
Look at the whole commute
The station is only one part of the trip. Add platform access, any change to Line 1 at D N Nagar, the exit at the other end and the last stretch to your office. Do not pay a premium for a journey time that leaves out half of those steps.

Line 2A is a real advantage at this location. Walk the gate-to-gate route at your normal travel time before treating any "minutes to metro" claim as fact.
